Problem


Recently very few farmers decide on their area spraying based on data because they have trouble collecting manual data and therefore they sprayed at the wrong time and using the wrong amount of chemicals. This cause high unnecessary impact on the environment and involves extra costs, not to mention the inferior quality of the crop due to the inefficiency of the method.


Solution


Our solution is data-collection and digitalized analysis. Based on these, we provide advice on exactly when and which pesticide to use. Presently we build upon university researches and knowledge of agrar specialists to determine the perfect time for spraying. In the future we will specify the forecast with our own database supplemented with the characteristics of a particular area.

Team


Our team include 6 young member open to innovation. Three of us started the SMAPP smart trap project and have since expanded with 2 developers and a plant protection consultant. A common point for us is the Hungarian Research Student Association, where we got to know each other. From the completions, though, it has become a serious goal and start up.
